Believe me there are loads of people out there who do base their judgements solely on skin colour and nothing else. Certainly there is racism...it's on both sides....to think that there are no black racist is ignorant....there are millions of blacks that are going to vote for Obama simply for the color of his skin...MILLIONS..Are they racist for that thought??? I believe that a very significant amount of people vote or decide things with race factoring into the picture in a very meaningful way, just like they would with gender. This is not that different from how people live and judge things in life. It's widespread, even though many do a good job not operating this way.

The part that bothers me is the fact you are ignoring the ones that are voting for him because he is black...you seem hesitant to recoginize that the racism pendulum swings both ways... I dare say, in this election...MORE people are voting for him BECAUSE HE IS BLACK...than the minority that is not voting for him for the same reason.... But we all know the blacks can't be racist.....riiiight.

Frank, do you think it's the color of their skin, or the ideals they were raised with, like I said earlier? There's no doubt in my mind that a significant number of people will be voting for him just because he is Black (and of course, a reasonable candidate in their eyes) for many reasons. Same thing for a woman. I also think there are many that would not vote for a woman or a Black person, just because of their gender or race. At the very least, I mean to say that it would either big the big factor or one of the biggest for them.

I won't vote for him because I don't think he can do the job and if a white person came up spouting the same BS he does, I'd say the same thing That's the part they don't get.........it's the man's platform, judgement, and associations that bother me... I wouldn't vote for John Edwards for the same reason I wouldn't vote for John Biden for the same reason I wouldn't vote for Hillary Clinton for the same reason I wouldn't vote for any of the current Democrats for the same reason.
