I'm saying that if YOU think the Democrats are pristene is this situation, you are saddly mistaken, or don't give a damn.
It's going to take both sides working together....BOTH sides.....McCain, no matter what you think of him, has the track record of reaching across the aisle..Obama HAS NEVER done that, or attempted that...
His plan to raise taxes in the middle of what's going on is TOTALLY wrong....Even he is admitting that he may have to wait....which is curious....if raising taxes is so good, why wait?...Why is he now backtracking on his plan?

As a matter of fact the word did come up recently on "The View" and "Good Morning America" Jane Fonda used it...It was talked about on several of the evening news casts...but NEVER linked to John McCain, which would have been the ideal time, if it were true, for it to be discused....it wasn't.

I've been republican bashing a lot lately, but here's a really serious question for you.

Why do you think that McCain, who is a dyed-in-the-wool party member, will do any better than Bush?

Honestly, I really don't understand that stance. To me, he is a Bush-clone and it's pretty obvious that we can't stand any more of the tragedy of the last eight years.

Why McCain? Why not a different track?

You evidently don't know a damn thing about him..his ass has been in trouble with the Republican party for NOT towing the line....Are not NOT aware of that?

Sure he has voted with Bush on several things, FYI so has Obama...some of the things that come up for vote ARE good things for the country...not just Democrat or Republican ideas.
