anyone seen the new remastered "Wake Up Call"??? it certainly gives a look into the big picture... Some of the presentation,, in fact a lot of it, is taken from other documentaries,,, many of which were overbearing and went too fast,,, resulting in turning people off to the subjects... this one is calm and thorough... and is very aply named,,, Wake Up Call its long,,, so try and set aside some time,,, or watch it in sections... its important stuff and well worth it...  http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=3543161691381895251

I can not believe that some of you guys with sharp minds haven't watched this yet! I took the time, and watched the entire video. I learned a hell of a lot about what could be happening and why. It isn't just some conspiracy trash, it actually starts to fall into place and raise some serious questions to think about. It explains what's happening to our economy, our schools, our government and us. I strongly recommend you watch this, then ask questions and think about what you watched. I'm wanting to hear some input about this, and so far no one has got past the first few minutes. If you can get through the first 15 minutes it really starts to become interesting, to say the least. You either see it, or you don't. All this money crisis, the wars, our economy, our schools, everything we're discussing here in 24 hour has more than one possible reason and outcome! We should be exploring them all.......... I've watched the entire video, but it was nothing knew to me. I've long been a proponent that our world is full of sheeple, being led to slaughter. Society as a whole, is too stupid and brainwashed into thinking our country is run by our government. The current election coming up is proof of that. Everyone say this guy will bring change, or that guy will bring change.. Bullshit! Whichever one of the talking heads that wins will change nothing! The people that control the MONEY, will continue to do just as they please and run the world the way they see fit!

I watched the entire video and I do agree that it is something everyone should watch. I say that not because I think every single part of it is true or implying a truth, but because, at the very least, there are some key concepts and principles we should all be thinking about. I also think there is enough truth in many of the items that warrant respect and consideration. For example, the money. "Follow the money" is a famous line and it's powerful because it is so often true. I didn't have great respect for that line until I started collecting coins. Collecting colonial coins can draw you into following the money because back then, coins weren't mass produced in the fashion they are today. There are smaller issues and private mints, resulting in a web of money tales wrapped around politics, religion, art, symbolism, finance, war, freedom, and many other significant windows through which history and life can be viewed. This Wake Up Call video connected with me on that level alone. It is through colonial coins that I first started appreciating the Founding Fathers. Ending the gold standard, going to fiat money, taxing income, creating a powerful centralized banking system with all its pros and cons is a story that can be traced back in history, right to the Founding Fathers. The Wake Up Call video hits upon these things and an example of a disturbing truth was how the Government ended the gold standard and confiscated our gold - even going into safety deposit boxes to get it. That is a truth that is part of an important money story - a story hit upon in the Wake Up Call video. Most coin collectors know the relationship between financial corruption and inflation, with getting off the gold and silver standards. Almost all coin collectors are very aware of how we got off of silver in the 60s, and gold in the 30s, and what has resulted since then. Almost all of us are aware of what we have enabled Government to do with its free check-writing on crack, made possibly only by forcing us to pay them off our income combined with money not backed by anything like gold and silver any longer. The Wake Up Call video gives an interesting account of financial matters such as the Great Depression to Wars. I haven't verified the facts, and I don't buy some of the other things in the video as being so important or true, but the vein in it about the Government machine makes it worth watching in my opinion so we can all start "following the money" more. It gives a very interesting perspective on the bank failures, Depressions, wars, and other money-related items that I think we should all be aware of enough to at least check out. Before watching Wake Up Call I already felt the core of that storyline was true, having seen it through the window of coin collecting which had me "wake up" and "follow the money."

God, give us grace to accept with serenity the things that cannot be changed, courage to change the things that should be changed, and the wisdom to distinguish the one from the other. In other words, what can we do?

We have your ability to vote, to be financially independent or debt free, to be informed, to spread awareness, and to demand transparency and accountability from those we hire and elect. I think it's clear that, in general, too many people take on debt and are not vigilantly guarding their freedom (aren't voting, aren't holding politicians accountable, etc.)

I think ALL of us doing what I suggested could put a stop to it because if ALL of us did those things and had a vigilant guard, politicians would have to answer to any and all charges about any of that, TODAY. They wouldn't be able to get away with meetings, corrupt bills stuffed with pork barrel spending, Halliburton corruption and theft that goes unanswered, a billion dollars stolen out of the Department of Education's allotment to CA alone, and a million other issues. We also wouldn't have so many millions of people so dependent upon Government due to their debt alone. Basically, all of us working together and using our votes (while being individually strong financially is big bonus of power too). We can be incredibly powerful and hold all the politicians to the fire and make them show us whatever records we want and give us the answers to whatever questions we want, if it meant the next day or election they would be out of a job in politics forever as punishment. Just ask yourself how many politicians are going to be punished tomorrow for condoning and asking for millions tucked away in bills as payoff for their votes. Answer: none

I'll be willing to bet only a handful in here have watched it to the end. I pretty much know those who have too. You're an independent thinker also Frank, and that's what it's going to take to bring America back......if we ever can.
