I share your distaste for that kind of talk, but that's her appeal, to a lot of people.  There's a strain of thought that says that Hillary was too defeminized  when she ran, and that turned a lot of people off (especially when she seemed to show a feminine side only when it was politically advantageous (e.g., crying on cue)).

McCain has also been accused of not being connected to the common people.  I think Palin shores him up in that respect, too.

I have to say, though, that she hasn't been a net positive with independents, and I think that's where he needs it most.

But then.. I can stand on the edge of Lake Ontario at a certain beach just north of Rochester, and on a clear night can see the lights of Toronto, Canada.  Does that make me a good candidate for VP?  Can I have the job?  Can I, can I please?  I will eat all my veggies..even the broccoli if I can be VP.

I'd vote for you befor voting for her.

Cool..I have one vote.  Snap, you can be my running mate.  Meaning YOU would be president.  ::nsmile::

Good thing is, very soon Obama will be President and we can start fixing this Republicon mess. I hope the next thing we hear is the Pig With Lipstick gets fined and fired!

I don't care who she ever tried to fire.  When her supporters start yelling "Obama Terrorist" or "Kill Obama" and she silently listens, she's the enemy, with little or no morality nor ethics.  I could tell you that she's married to an alcoholic who is tightly aligned with an Anti American group, but why stoop to the kindergarten stone throwing tactics of the Sean Hannity's.

America, grow up already.  Get ready for your first Afro American president, and please don't assasinate him.
