Jerry Corsi, a friend of a friend of mine, was in Africa a week ago to give a speech. Before he was able to get on stage, he was taken out of the building at gun point. My friend hasn't heard anything from or about him since. One of the things he investigated was that Obama was in fact born in Kenya, to a mother who was 18 years old. At that time if she had been of age (19), his citizenship would have followed the mother. Since she wasn't, it followed the dad. I'm not saying this is a true fact, but I am saying I think at some point, you need to really look at statements that are being made, and realize there are a lot of cover ups when it comes to corruption and money! Since he's so against the illegals, I'm hoping to meet him when I visit her. Jerry's new book is The Obama Nation. You might agree with it, you might not.........you should be paying attention to it. Here are just a couple of items that pop up in the search engine: Corsi is probably the most controversial man in America these days. Hi, Fox. If Corsi is a friend of yours, I certainly don't want to disparage him. The specific claim, though, that Obama was born in Kenya is not true. He was born in Hawaii. There is both a birth certificate and a contemporaneous birth announcement to back that up. We covered Obama's citizenship in another thread, but you can check out Factcheck.org for the documents I'm talking about.

Obama is a US citizen because EITHER ONE of his parents was a US citizen. Doesn't matter ONE WHIT what Kenyan law has to say about it. The US Constitution and the UCIS are what matter. The Constitution says that a President must be a "natural born citizen" " Currently, Title 8 of the U.S. Code fills in those gaps. Section 1401 defines the following as people who are "citizens of the United States at birth:"
This is the one that settles it FOREVER: "Any one born outside the United States, if one parent is an alien and as long as the other parent is a citizen of the U.S. who lived in the U.S. for at least five years (with military and diplomatic service included in this time)" His mother was BORN in the US, lived in the MidWest to at least age five. THAT covers Obama, outright, completely, with NO ARGUMENTS. His mother could have been TWELVE years OLD and given birth to him anywhere in the world -- because SHE was a US Citizen, Obama automatically was. That's been the law for many decades. Every other law from ANY other country is ABSOLUTELY utterly and totally irrelevant. Are you saying that Kenyan laws are MORE IMPORTANT to you than US Law is?

Now will you STOP IT with the BS reasons not to vote for Obama? I'm BEGGING you. There are plenty of good reasons that are perfectly TRUE, like his spending record, his voting record, his association with Wright, etc. it is NOT NECESSARY to go inventing or believing BULLSHIT like him being a practicing member of the Islamic Faith, or him not being a US citizen eligible to be President. And I don't CARE why someone got their sorry ass arrested in a foreign country. They PROBABLY thought he was rich and could ransom himself for lots of $$$ That only happens about 200 times a year when some stupid arrogant American goes wandering around the world pushing people's buttons and acting like they're invincible.

Do you really think that the political machine that is the Democratic party has not investigated this? Do you really, honestly believe that they would be so monumentally stupid as to put forth a candidate who could be so easily disqualified? Sometimes I wonder about you, I really do.

Not because they're above doing it, but because it's blatantly obvious that if they did that, they know they'd get destroyed. Neither party would look the other way if one of them did that. If the Dems did that, they'd be handing the Republicans the election. And if, by some mind-bogglingly stupid move, a president was to run without the proper constitutional requirements, and got elected, the opposing party could call for his impeachment on Nov. 5. There's no up side for a party doing that.
