You waged the campaign you needed to win, and did a great job in doing it. I congratulate you and your backers...... I will, from this day forward, choose to ignore your checkered past, questionable associations, and poor judgements.....I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you truly had no idea what was going on around you. I will support you as the president of the United States and try to show you the respect that your party rarely did when my party was in office. I will be civil when you do the wrong thing...And you will, because no one is perfect. I will support you on items on your list that are beneficial to the country, and not just one party.. I will support you when you do the things it takes to protect the freedoms our ancestors died to give us. I will support you when you have America's best interest and safety at heart. Good luck to you, because it will be a tough road....your party will try to pull you left, and the Republicans will try yo pull you right....please for the sake of this country and it's great citizens, stay in the center and keep America's interests at the forefront. I support that thought and meaning Mill. The elction turned out the way I "thought" it would, not necessarily they way it should have for the correct reasons. I will support, give him every chance to help. I think, just my opinion, but I think we owe that to our elected President.......... for as long as we possibly morally do it.

I too will try to support those exact things you mentioned here. I will try to keep an open mind and my eyes and ears open. Well, the sun did in fact rise in the sky this morning!!!I saw it!!! To the surprise & fear of many that felt it may not have if Obama was elected!!! Actually, aside from the fact that Obama is handsome, has style, carisma, and elequently told the general populace what they wanted to hear, the loudest message of his being elected was to send/give a big ol smack in the face of GWB!!! McBush, & or McSame as they were refering to McCain didn't even stand a chance in hell of defeating Barrack! McCain's defeat was the people's way to finally give some "payback" to GWB, with the only weapon the people had!!! The VOTE!!! Anyway, I am hopefull that Barrack will try to live up to most of his promisses that he made to the people who elected him! Time will tell.

President Obama won this election for just one reason...... American's are sick and tired of a government which controls them by false fears, intimidation, and continuing to support wealthy corporations while our lifestyles suffer. I'm just waiting for all of the closet racists to come out of hiding. It is wonderfully refreshing to see that Mr. McCain's inferior campaign tactics of falsehoods and negative recriminations made him the loser. I'm glad to see America rejected a really lousey candidate. Now let's get the corporate influences out of government, send our soldiers in Iraq to the southern borders, and start telling the truth and enjoying the fruits of its labors. Dr. Steve

Awe.......not so fast aknow. They better not get sick and tired of a government that controls them. They haven't seen anything yet! As far as bringing our troops home to control our borders? Wouldn't that be nice!! Don't hold your breath, Obama is the one who will open the flood gate at the borders. That's one of the main reasons I didn't vote for him. Hopefully, he'll listen to a loud voice rising from Americans who are tired of this invasion, and do just that. He sure as hell would get my loyalty! In another couple of months you won't have Bush to kick around (although I anticipate that the Dems will get as much milage as possible blaming him for our future woes).
