That's the same thing my grandfather Abraham said about the "brownshirts" back in Bremen in '36!

Forgot to add that these benign protestors were shouting the "n" word at the first speaker.  Pathetic.

Assume we give them what they want and just open the borders to whomever wants to run across and cash-in on the roughly $20k-$30k in annual benefits the American taxpayer provides.

Most the world lives in poverty, why not just come here and live off the government dole?  We'd be looking at 3-4 billion immigrants.

Bacc, most of the violent protestors there were members of the University's Socialist party club.  The mentality there is one of pure worldwide share the wealth with everyone socialism.

I didn't see the footage, but I can only assume that they were the first to offer up their hackey-sacks, sandals, and unopened cans of deodorant to ease the suffering of the illegal immigrants?

Am I correct in that assumption?

Did they pass the hat around collecting private donations for illegals during the protest?

I never said that I supported illegal immigration.  I said that I like the idea of these young people feeling strong enough about something to protest.

I don't agree that everyone changes their viewpoints when they start paying taxes...people that complain about taxes the most are usually those getting some sort of government handout whether it be medicare, social security, farm subsidies, or what amounts to welfare for business.  You're just complaining because you want your republican friends in government to give you a bigger share of what they fleece from the taxpayer.

Yes and they plan to set up free yogurt stations along the border so the poor misunderstood "immigrants" can have some healthy yummy food in their tummys when they break our laws.

Precisely.  Non-taxpayers should have no voice in government for exactly that reason.

Well, I gotta go for a bit...You guys continue to speculate what the US would be now if our forefathers decided to break with British overlords through a series of civilized debates on their injustices against the colonies.

You're comparing apples to oranges, here.  We're not overthrowing tyrannical rule here, rather debating border policy in an institution of higher learning.

Well, I gotta go for a bit...You guys continue to speculate how many Jews would still be alive now if Nazis decided to debate the Weimar Republic  through a series of civilized debates rather than disruptive and non-productive behavior.

He knows.  He's just trying to provoke everyone.  It's a patheticly poor comparison.

Yes, But it shows the level of absolute dementia that rules some people.

It helps explain some of the behavior.

Yes, what an honorable protest this is.  I wonder if they know that when mommy and daddy no longer pick up their tabs for them, these illegals will have access to better and more health care than they do?

No, I place no stock in the opinions of people who don't contribute to society.

Blackhawk wrote: Apparently our forefathers were marxists, huh you dumbass?  Remember the Boston Teaparty?

If you have any education at all, you would understand the statistics that 90% of professors are liberal, with the majority of those being far left and yes advancing marxist causes. The problem being is that they are not teaching, but indoctrinating our youth with their version of the world.

I remember the Boston tea party, what in the hell does that have to do with this? These punks did what they did because the campus Republican party invited him to speak.

Didn't you just do a crusade on another thread about freedom of speech and the constitution? Or is it just the freedom to hear your side of it.

Your a joke

Have a nice day

Wow.....I wonder why the most educated people in our country are liberal, while the Republican stereotype is a mouth-breathing, trailer-inhabiting, fundamentalist Christian whining about gays???

Interesting...........
