They say new technology makes this the year of video? Last year is was streaming audio.  Now it's streaming video.  What's next?

Probably just more of the same, but better.  I'm hoping "user friendly interfaces" go up another level.

I'm expecting many services used offline to become more online mainstream like video conferencing.  It's been available online, but I now see large companies discovering its value.  There is a whole new group of business experts teaching, like Alex Mandossian that are discovering new ways to do business online, in a superior way over conventional methods.

Like doing a virtual book tour. That is brilliant, because he has learned how to do one more effectively increasing sales potential a hundred fold. It's uses like this that are reforming the way the world does business.  We are definitely experiencing a paradigm shift!

I actually got rid of my conventional land line telephone and use VoIP. I can call all over the USA, Canada, Mexico, and Western Europe for a flat $25 per month.

I called the Bank of Iraq (not on the free call list) and it cost me pennies compared to what it would have cost using a conventional phone system.

New software, cheaper broadband, and now satellite Internet are becoming more common.  Even radio is gaining presence online.

I see a new world, and it's here now!

Regards,

Maverick

obviously with the explosion of youtube online video is this years hottest interent "thing" so far, but i agree with you about the internet selling of video conferencing or courses. i have friends who are maximizing SERP and SEO and selling online courses or seminars and making a lot of money by selling a few units per day. And they are doing it completely online and virtually without doing anything but setting up a website and letting the sales happen. It is an amazing online business model.

http://www.shoemoney.com - the master of it.
http://www.seobook.com/ - more info.

they maximize their efforts by having 10, 20, 30, 40 or more websites up and running at one time. Basically one page sales brochures in very specific internet search categories that get listed high on the search engines and generate sales. the goal to be make 1-2 sales per week per site, without doing much work at all, just filling orders. they have a product like an online seminar or something that is helpful to a certain population. in addition they may pay for google ads or something like that, and again, if you can generate enough sales then the return does justify the advertising cost.

And finally here is the biggest of them all - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/ . That famous board has well over 1 million posts by people who are completely obsessed with search engine optimizing for massive results of hits and sales.

lots of reading info for you kiddies, enjoy!

Well, in answer to the topic question.  It would be nice to read that my site hit the headlines, but I guess that's not going to happen unless something really hairy hits us.  And that's usually a bad thing!   (Hell, whatever happened to my optimistic nature)???

;)

EBS,

Yes. In brief. Pretty interesting stuff there. I got burried alive on a project and out of the loop for a week or so.

Better pass the bottle to Pussy Cat! Cheer her up a bit! :alcohol:

Pussy Cat & Twitchin Kitten,

Let's talk a little bit about what you can do to be on that list of HOT new business successes.  Tell us a little about the structure of your businesses and lets do some good ole fashion brain storming here. I'll bet we can all come up with some pretty cool ideas and insider secrets.  I love a good challenge, and I know the Judge, EBS and the others do to. If you're game, let's start the sparks flying here. I feel like a good virtual forest fire!

What have you tried that didn't work? What do you think should have worked but didn't? What would you like to try to do? Synergy is a good thing!

Regards,

Maverick

Scolls,

Good thought. I've been hoping for a high quality voice activated input program. I've tried Dragon, seen Xerox's and some others, but not impressed yet. I've heard Stephen Hawking has a great one. Any info on this type of program?
