Pretty cool place - http://www.everbank.com

Their currency center:  http://www.everbank.com/main.asp?affid=eb

Current yields: http://www.everbank.com/pops/disclosure_pop.asp?Lborder=10&loc=direct.asp?IdPage=pro_wc_cd_rts_pop

Interesting currency diversification tactic.  They also have indexed (grouped) CDs.

You would have to pay the foreign tax too though.  They don't seem to be available for IRAs or other tax-sheltered vehicles.  The CD from Iceland gives 12.55% - that Country is paranoid about inflation because they get to wrecked from it in the past so they boosted interest rates.  FDIC insured.  You can still lose principle from exchange rates, though.

I also don't see any funds or ways to conveniently buy the Government bonds of just Iceland.  Perhaps there is a mutual fund that covers them well, don't know.
