I don't believe that's an excuse of any sort.  Besides, it wasn't like it was a short stint with drugs, she's been on that crap for years and years.  She might have an amazing voice, but she's a trashy junky.

She has everything going for her and is ruining her life...what a waste!   I saw her in concert about 10 years ago, and she was phenomenol.  I didn't know at the time about her drug problem.

Yeah, like I said, I agree that she has an amazing voice.  She's definitely ruined her life though by her own doing.
