Have any studies been done to find out the ratio of abusive to caring parents? Or is this a case of ignoring the majority because of what a minority may possibly do?

You know, I see a lot of this from the most recent generation in the classroom. if a kid accidentally pokes another student with a pencil, the immediate reaction, "I'm gonna sue you!"

Then the other kid will say, 'It was the pencil's fault! It flew out of my hand!"

It does not bode well.

It is a case of ignoring the majority because of what a minority have been known to do.

You're acting like we've never had these kind of conversations before, but we have. I think we know one another pretty well. Nothing I've said is a shock to you. In fact, I doubt there's much of anything I'm likely to say that would shock you. So, I ask yet again why the outburst?

Yes, that does indeed happen to me, too, sometimes, Shiroh. It was much more frequent when I was in sales. ;) It's nothing that a gin and tonic after work won't fix.

I haven't tried that remedy yet. I've self-prescribed rum and Coke, a couch, and a baseball game on TV with good results, though (unless the Angels have Colon or Santana on the mound :rant:).
