I'm liking the way this forum is set up more and more. I like the separation of the forums, I like the diversity of areas of interest.  And I like the way Frank has been using his discretion and authority towards the goal of building a better community.

:exactly:This place is turning out to be better than the old OF by a long shot.

So, anybody want to turn the Hobbies & Collectibles place here into a real coin forum???
Now that is an outstanding and intriguing idea!!  This place could in fact rival PCGS' forum in that respect.  Very interesting idea.

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. -Matthew 22:37-39

Perhaps we should check with "The New Boss" here. I'll bet Frank will like the idea.

First, we'll need some real authorities on coins.  Some really knowledgeable coin people - like Anaconda.

I didn't mean it as an insult.

I've always thought of Otis as an exceptionally nice woosie.

For the record, we have some of the absolute best numismatic posters from CU here already, they just happen to be the more laid back less in your face type of people. Sure, it's cool to chat with a big time dealer that knows a lot, but I prefer to talk about coins with collectors that have managed to accomplish something without actually devoting their entire lives to coins.

There are some bona fide experts here folks. Enjoy what they give you because we're fortunate to have the ones here that give it freely and with no pretense. Real "love of the game" stuff.
