Yes, Iwon.com is shutting down their message boards on September 13 or 14 - they've been there for about 7 years, I believe - I first started posting there in 2001.

I Won is a portal site that offers prizes and games - I won't recommend or not recommend them - and that's not because I never won!

It seems, according to some users, to be a good idea to have your anti-spyware programs up to date if you go there, though.

I hardly notice them anymore - my previous-century computer isn't compatible with a lot of that stuff anyway ha ha!

 Yeah, I guess the forums on iWon got to be more than what the iWon admins wanted to handle.  They seemed popular enough, but I think periodically (ha! Like every couple of hours!) the forums would devolve into something akin to zoo gorillas flinging dung around.
  Some people said I was the voice of reason, which scares me because I'm a bit flaky.  I guess my philosophy was, and still is, that it's not worth getting upset about, especially in a place where everybody is anonymous.
