Invade Switzerland!!! What is it with the Swiss? I mean, they are so damn civilized. This small country just kinda sits there by itself, minding it's own business and everyone's money. Just too civilized in my opinion. Some country should invade them, maybe Peru. I can see the headlines now. PERU INVADES SWITZERLAND. Wouldn't that be a blast?:banana:

I think they're unnaturally proud of themselves. I mean what is their big claim to fame except that they stay out of wars. Hell, even the French could do that... ...if they were a little smarter.

Speaking of French, no offense, but the Swiss kindda remind me of them. They're both a little snooty and act all European, if you know what I mean.

Prior to WWI, the German Kaiser asked in 1912 what the quarter of a million Swiss militiamen would do if invaded by a half million German soldiers. In response a man from Switzerland replied: "shoot twice and go home".

Every Swiss citizen doe4s militia service at least and takes home his BDU's and his service rifle with ammo. He's required to show up for duty within six hours of the call up.

Switzerland didn't take responsibilty for their own freedom by staying armed, they took responsibility for their freedom from being cowards, fence sitters and by failing to condem and fight Nazi expansionism.

Its very easy to sit holding your gun knowing that under no circumstances are you prepared to use it for any good or just cause.

As for your comment about kicking our rear end?, I won't justify such pathetic posturing with a response.
