Idiot sues Glock, holster manufacturer, and stores that sold him the firearm and holster.

If you want to read about a moron who has chutzpa with a capital "C", read the article I linked above.

Here's a snippet:
Enrique Chavez, 37, of Anaheim, was off-duty when he was shot on July 11, 2006, while driving his Ford Ranger near Harbor Boulevard and La Palma Avenue. His son got a hold of his father's .45-caliber weapon while sitting in the back seat and shot him in the back, according to police reports. The son was not restrained in a safety seat.

A cop lets his 3-year old son ride unrestrained in the back seat of his truck with easy access to his loaded service weapon. His own stupidity and negligence leads to his own shooting. Does he tour the country telling people about the absolute need to have children properly restrained in child seats and about the basics of firearms safety? No. He instead sues the gun manufacturer, the holster manufacturer, the store that sold him the firearm, and the store that sold him the holster.

Instead of letting him sue innocent parties, shouldn't some jurisdiction arrest him for child endangerment (among other things)?

The only award he deserves is a "Darwin Near Miss Award".

LOL, pretty good.  It's disgusting, isn't it?  He should be fined for the kid without a baby seat.

You know, I think if they paassed a law like this:

"If in the opinion of a judge, you are bringing a frivolous lawsuit, the first-offense penalty is $10,000, payable from you AND your lawyer, immediately. No appeals."

there'd be less of this crap.

There's NO effective penalty for this sort of "shake the tree for money BS" that lawyers try to run-
Laws exist, but they're weak, full of holes, and no judge wants to try to enforce them.

Give the law some teeth, judges immunity from putting a stop to such crazy tort law abuse, and our legal system wouldn't be the most profitable thing to do as an American after selling drugs.

Attorney PACS in Washington squeal like a stuck pig whenever anyone brings up meaningful tort reform proposals.

If there were an effective way to curb frivilous lawsuits, many innocents would save a bundle defending themselves or paying settlements to fight off scumbags who are looking for easy money.
