I just got some kind of virus that took me 4 hours to just get back on any net side.

I wasn't anywhere weird....but a pop up happened on the MSN home page..........big heart looking thing...........after that I could not do anything.

Get the free version of AVG antivirus.

It displays a "safe" notice just by moving your cursor OVER a link.

Quite nice.

Get it and run it.  Tell it to fix the crap it will find.

Might also run Spybot and get that too if you don't already have it.
