I think that if he went back up towards the top of this page, he would see that my answer was in agreement with you, Frank. If he wasn't so busy playing the spelii(spee-lee-eye), he would have seen that.

One thing that needs to be taken into consideration, is the fact that I would not be in a van going to a meeting about mon'do, especially if you are driving, Frank. I've seen how people from up north drive down here in the south, and it scares the hell out of me. Sorry!!!

It doesn't take a re-interpretation or use of allegory to see literally that he loves it!

Dear friend,

Are you afraid to venture an answer to the riddle, JBF?

You are the one who asked about mon'do. Let's see how skilled you are?

Show me your :cash:

Does this mene I win?

Win what. You are the only one here that gives a crap about mon'do. Just be happy.

Dear friend,

I believe you.

God know's I love mon'do and, and I'm a happy guy!

I win because this is already the second page of this thread and you are still debilitated about what your roll is here. I'm just trying to help you out ,bud.

I win because I'm not lost.

So, you go along with whatever Frank tells you to do about the rabbit, then?

It's OK, really. I do understand. With all your postering the only thing you can up with is the obvious fact that I love mon'do? It took you awhile to figure that one out, did it?

With this definition, and his attitude most of the time, he is a very irresponible person.

: not responsible: as a: not answerable to higher authority <an irresponsible dictatorship> b: said or done with no sense of responsibility <irresponsible accusations> c: lacking a sense of responsibility d: unable especially mentally or financially to bear responsibility

Dear friend,

That's it; get it all out! Is this supposed to be assertiveness or just passive-aggressive? You still don't get mon'do do ya?

Dear friend,

1) I did read your post agreeing with Frank. However, your string of emoticons did not delineate any relevant substance to Frank's post. If you agree with Frank then what did he mene by "it"? Was "it" the rabbit or was "it" the 2x4? Do you concur with the notion that the rabbit has to be killed or not in order to take it into the van? Are you willing to allow Frank to decide everything about the rabbit for you? If Frank makes the wrong choice then you are not then responsible in any way? You're a follower, then? You don't want a vote because your afraid you will be wrong or something like it? Let other's make the real choices for you? Just askin?

2) Your second paragraph is interesting, though. I'd like to say that it is original, creative or whatever, but, it's not. It's, well, quite common. I often find when someone believes they are caught with having to make a choice they don't like then they try to change or alter some of the conditions that they find themselves in. The fact is that you put yourself on the van with your post of agreement with Frank. I'm sure you understood this allegory - 24 Hour Forum van with Frank as the driver in a thread about Mon'do -

Frank could have just driven on by. He chose to stop. You could have stayed in the van but your own curiosity got the better of you.

Here we are, on the side of the road, trying to get to mon'do and there it is right there - wild eyed and screaming; afraid to let anyone try to help it. Do ya kill the victim for it's own good? Do you let other's decide for you so you don't have to share the blame if it's the wrong choice? Do you consult about it and come to a consensus and share the responsibility and or blame? Do you take it to the meeting as an offering or prize?

Just sayin.

Was anyone in the van able to connect to the net? I'd want to retrieve a recipe for camp-fire cooked rabbit since we are out there and have the fresh meat. We could burn the 2 X 4 to help the fire.

Dear friend,

Hehehehe! ;O) "Not I" says the spelii. Learn to love it raw. If we ululate, too longingly, we'll miss our purpose for the trip - the mon'do meeting.

My count is you got two votes so far - one is yours - the other vote is mudd's(even if Mudd is not really clear as to why).

The heat of the mid-day sun may be getting to ya, Frank. I'd say: Fanciful thinking does not get one any closer to mon'do.

The question is: Are you now the 2x4? Can a 2x4 act of it's own volition? How else can you ignite the 2x4?

It's hot; we're only half way; we're not getting on to the stated goal; only two have voted and the wild eyed rabbit is suffering so.

The goal is not to expire out in the middle of the desert, is it?

Back in my 20s I thought that "wacko tobacco" got me closer to mon'do. But I later discovered... it took me farther away.

Dear friend,

Poor JBF! This is like reminding us all who were in the van that it is hot outside. I think we got it. ;O)

Thanx, but, this is the third time the dictionary definition of the word mondo has been brought to everyone's attention. The first time I alerted Frank to this definition some time ago in another thread he started on "Mon'do".  Others brought it up again in yet another thread to which I explained then as I am doing now that the spelling of mondo and mon'do are different; AND, mon'do is a Native term used to express a way of being. Hopefully everyone is now up to speed.

Are you still denying even the very existence of the wild eyed rabbit, JBF? What about the 2x4? Are you willing and able to help the driver and everyone else out and vote? What do you want to see happen to this suffering rabbit? If I understand correctly, Frank says he wants to serve this lagomorph up for the consumption of other's; while beating into submission anyone else who brings up any mention thereafter about mon'do. Mudd's vote is with Frank.

Are you going to whimp out or, or are you going to come to the fore and give an opinion?  Non-action is a defining behavior.

The meeting about Mon'do is very important. There is a reason Frank pulled over. Everyone on board feels sorry for the rabbit. If he looks severely injured I would aim, close my eyes and take it out of it's misery. We are not prepared to properly treat the rabbit.
