Actually, I think 2 bombs was all we had, but that's not why we limited it to two.  We wouldn't have dropped more unless Japan didn't surrender.  Nagasaki was all about making the Japanese give in.  We were trying to avoid a protracted invasion that would've cost us hundreds of thousands more lives.

All in all, I think it was a good call.

I agree it was a good call Brian.  Now, can we do it again against the invasion closer to home?  What can we drop to stop THIS war??  Unlike Japan, who blatantly attacked us, what do we drop on an infiltration coming into our country by the thousands a day?  I say machine guns at the border!! At least we wouldn't be killing a lot of innocent people like the A-Bombs did..............

That's where you're wrong ninja.  We have a country that is already devastating our land with an invasion.  I personally think getting them as they cross our border, is a heck of a lot more humane than dropping a bomb on their country.   NOW, you're talking killing innocent people.  Have you been reading about the Drug Cartel at our border?  Killing Americans and Mexicans at the borders?  Our infra structure is being torn down, our jobs are being taken, Americans are actually being fired from their jobs because they can't speak the language of our invaders.  We have a war going on ninja, our country is being invaded by the hundreds of thousands and our government is not protecting us.........
