And.............this is a good thing?? I'm not understanding your point other than what some of us have been saying all along, is true. I'll venture to guess at the rate they're going, it will be long before 2042.

I do not see an issue with this. I have read of this for years. Just consider the increase, it seems, of "mixed" relationships. There will be many more bi-racial, or tri-racial folks out there, who technically are not "white" only..or any other race only. My husband has a good friend of "mixed race" as the article puts it. He considers himself black, as by outward appearance that is what he appears. But he has black, white and American Indian in his heritage. He told me once that his sister, if you saw her, appears white, she is so fair skined.

I am part of a minority also. It is because i am older than most but heck.........I'm ok with it  OK.........it sucks

It's not the color of skin, eyes, hair or bottom of your feet that bothers me at all! It's losing my identity, my culture, my heritage........... When America as I know it, the America I grew up in is no longer......that's what bothers me!! If I wanted to live like other nations or adopt other countries cultures I would move to those countries. When those countries are instead moving in to my country and not adapting to this countries life, then I'm losing my country............I don't see how in the hell people can't see this.

Fox, I see and understand your reasoning, and why this is so personal for you. But I feel I will still politely disagree with you. Here is my stand on it. Back at the turn of the 20th century, when our grandparents, and great grandparents came here, it was the same thing. America was called the melting pot for a reason. People came over and brought thier cultures and lives with them. At the time, many loved in comunities of "their own kind". So there were here in America, but were able to be among those of their own background and culture. Even in the small town I grew up in, my area was predominantly Polish and Italian. I am of both cultures, so it made for some interesting holiday meals. Yep..had the lasagna made with Polish sausage in it. We were then, and are still a mixture of many cultures, many heritages. I think the biggest difference today is that there are more non-white" cultures and heritages coming into our country today than 100 years ago. I am speaking of those who arrive, and stay legally, of course.

Well said Fox....It's unfortunate that so many, in an effort to bend over backward to accommodate others, don't even see what they're doing to their OWN heritage...There's nothing wrong with people coming to America, and most of us agree with that, but the illegals are going to destroy this country eventually.

They even told her they didn't have time for her to learn it!! She had been at that job for 9 years, and was replaced by a Mexican............ The illegals directly involved with my sons death, AND the employer who hired them, have all been protected by my government. Nothing has happened to any of them.
