I am still working on a roleplaying game that members can take part in whenever they wish as part of the forum, this is a little experiment to see if a random character generator would work............

All you have to do is pick a number between one and and sixty three, I will then tell you what career path your character is following, simple as that.

I would appreciate it if everyone took part and just picked a number for me to see if the system would work, you don't have to take part in the game itself if you don't want to, even if you have no interest in roleplaying games whatsoever please pick a number for me.

Congratulations you are a coachman/woman !

Travelling the highways of the old world is a dangerous business, and those who do it regularly develop important skills. The coachman/woman - who bravely runs the gauntlet daily - faces many hazards; the roads are dangerus and difficult places, with surfaces seldom adequately maintained and travellers can expect trouble from bandits, highwaymen, irrate tollkeepers and inquisitive road wardens, to say hothing of the occassional monster or marauding band of goblins. it is the coachman/womans unenviable task to convey passengers and cargo safely through all these hazards, and to carry official messages or messengers when called upon. few coachmen/women stay in the job long enough to benefit from the "teamsters" guild penion scheme and some take their skills into the a life of adventuring.

You have the following career skills - Animal care, cart driving, Musicianship (coach horn), horse riding, and specialist weapon (blunderbuss rifle).

You carry the following equipment - coach horn, blunderbuss with 6 shots of powder and ammunition, a short sword, and a chain mail shirt.

Congratulations you are an Artisans apprentice !

All artisans learn their trade by taking an apprenticeship. As apprentices they leanr the skills necessary to their profession. earning their keep in the meantime. sadly in all too many cases they also work long hours for little reward and are given all the unpleasant, menial jobs  to do. and they may be unlucky enough to have an ill tempered, drunken or incompotent master. apprentices who leabe their masters before completing their apprenticeship have no trade by which to support themselves and many may become vagabonds or adventurers for want of any other way of making a living.

Your skills are - Cart driving, natural resilience, naturally strong mind and body.

Your equipment is - a dagger, and tools appropriate to your trade skill.
