This is a very true story. I did dream about UsedToRide last night for some reason. It was very realistic yet, for some reason, I never got a good look at her face even though I know what she looks like. It was generally impersonal. She wasn't in a bad mood or anything, things were just very generic and matter of fact. Here is what I remember: We were to go drive somewhere to store some things, like boxes. We were going with an older person, someone who might have been an uncle or family friend. I sat in the back seat as he drove. UTR was in the passenger seat in front of me, smoking a cigarette. Her arm was sort of around the back of the driver a bit with the cig hanging out, not caring if the smoke bothered me (which it didn't). I just remember thinking how comfortable she was. I think it was after the fact that I found it odd she had the cig there instead of near the window, not during the dream. Sometimes those things blur when you start thinking about the dream right afterward. I think it felt like a car but was actually a flat bed type truck when we got there and I got a sense of the work. Anyway, we got to this storage area. I think we met up with people she knows - could be friends or relatives, I didn't know. Typical sort of help when one moves, although I was not under the impression anyone was moving. My impression was we had to store a bunch of stuff. I was just sort of helping out. I think I was just visiting and got asked to help, and did. Next thing I know we are in the shed-like building with big shelves in the back and boxes around. UTR was trying to get a big box on a higher shelf by climbing on a table. I remember finding the way she was doing it to be a bit sloppy or lazy styled even, although I noted she was the first one to start working. I got up there to sort of catch the box and help her as it was slipping from her grip. Then I woke up. That's it!

I remember finding the way she was doing it to be a bit sloppy or lazy styled even, although I noted she was the first one to start working. That's weird, Frank. I will try to find the easiest way to do something, so that may be perceived as a lazy way to do it, and in big pain in the ass projects like this, I am normally the first one to get to business. I don't have time to mess around. Let's get this shit over with!!! I wish I knew how to analyze dreams. Kinda weird that you're dreaming about me, don't ya think?

Yeah, you had a sort of serious minded let's get this over with energy, but it was obvious you weren't really into it and were just sort of doing it "whatever" style. That sort of started with the quiet car ride and your cig out like you don't give a damn. I remember feeling "good" that people saw me help you, whatever that means.

I remember feeling "good" that people saw me help you, whatever that means. Hmmm.....maybe you've learned more about Bikers than even you know. When you do a favor for a Biker, they never forget and they always repay the debt. When people know you have Bikers as friends, it gives them a different perspective of you. There have recently been a rash of burglaries in my neighborhood. I made a couple calls and have made it known that I am friendly with a few MC's. Sort of a preemptive strike that this house is not one you'd do well to break into. Ahh.....it's good to have friends.....

Well that's true, I do remember not fitting in with the type of people and scenery around me, sort of like I enjoyed doing something to be accepted. I looked forward to getting home where people knew how to stack boxes though. Just kidding, heh.

I had to come in and check this out. Did'nt know what kinda stuff Frank was gonna say but have to admit,...my thoughts went another way and the curiosity got the best of me. Guess that says a bit 'bout me,huh?! First thing that came to mind was UTR's pool table pic...and Franks unpredicable way of coming off with anything just to get a rise out of 'er. Dont know if it's big set of balls he has or a serious lack of common sense,...but I try to always come see the fireworks.
