If people get out from under personal debt they will be fine. It is the folks that are wrapped up in revolving credit that will suffer.  Have plenty of gold.......I would not sell it till it reaches full maturity in about 5 years. Buy now as a hedge (it's fairly cheap) against these crooks. As long as you can sit on it for a few years it will create a fence that only the smart will be able to walk along. If you plan to retire soon do not go this route buy treasury bonds and enjoy the interest that will come from this buy-out. If you have time buy the dip, as most securities will wander in the coming years. Not paper gold & silver but physical and touch me now metal's. Look back to what happened during the depression and the tale of the tape will be measured............Invest in usable commodities ......look at Cambell soup. Another thing look at anything seafood as that is on the cusp of becoming scarce but still sellable, but only short term, as the population will turn to poultry in the long run.
