It's been weird there.  Yesterday, Laserart posted a word of the day having to do with numismatics, and one guy jumped on him for bringing the Open Forum over there.  :(

You certainly weren't treated that way by me, my name and condescension have never been synonymous.

I do understand your point though and did see a few cases where the condescension really stunk.

This guy has been very divisive and has been there less than two months.

I really just want to enjoy my damn coins and everyone can pluck off.  This is the kind of thing I'm interested in:

It's kind of funny in retrospect...

when I posted it on the coin forum, one of the first responses was "not bad for an open forum wannabe!"

Why do you say that?

They'll give everyone enough rope to hang themselves this weekend.  Tomorrow should be wholesale slaughter.

Or I'm wrong, and they'll be patient and hope it goes away.

I can't remember the last time I posted to the US Coin Forum.  It's been a long time.  (Not counting September 7th.)

I quickly grow weary of the same threads over and over and over.

Actually I guess it's less frosty than satin. Truly beautiful any way you turn it. I've seen late date Peace bucks that have patches that look like that, but complete and unbroken it's really a sight to behold.
