Not specifically in reference to the Dale Earnhardt thing, but I'm actually getting a little sick of the coin forum, the people there, and all their BS.  I never thought I'd say that.  I usually love BS.

I'm feeling that. I litterally could not care less about NASCAR, but for some reason that thread really rubbed me the wrong way. In fact, the coin forum hasn't rubbed me the right way in quite a while.

Lately you've really got to sift through the trash to find quality numismatic posts on the coin forum.  They are still there though. 

As far as the bamming goes.  I wouldn't be surprised if they bammed everyone with a little blue fish in their singline (including me).

The sad thing is I really respect Coxe based on knowledge shared in numerous previous posts over there. The same thing goes for AirplaneNut. But to come out so harshly against people for simply being themselves (and ON TOPIC I might add) is telling.

I joined the CU in Sept 2003 to learn about coins and seek answers. That lasted about 3 months in the coin forum before i basically said "F these condescending, know-it-all, whining, and yes elitist a-holes"

 

Then I went to the OF and met the real coin collectors of worth
