the new
FAVORITE TOPICS
feature



On the homepage you now have a new tab called Favorites!:





At the bottom of every topic is a new button called Favorites:





If you click "Add to favorites" the topic you are in will be listed as one of your personal Favorites.  All of your Favorite Topics will show up for you when you click the Favorites tab on the homepage.  Like the other tabs, if you click it while in a forum, just the Favorite Topics you selected from that specific forum will show.  By the way, this tab also shows up in your Account next to the Watched Forums and Profile tabs.

When you want to remove a topic from your Favorite list, just click the Remove from Favorites button at the bottom of the topic:



 

This has many uses:

When you arrive at the site, you can conveniently check out the topics you had been wanting to keep an eye on.  Forum owners can better watch certain topics.  You can keep the topics you refer to a lot in one place for handy information.  You can "save" topics you need to revisit for updates.  There are many reasons one might want to note, save, list, or bookmark certain topics with fast and convenient accessibility.
