Bingo !

But the line was in fact delivered by J.Frank Parnell not Emilio Estevez, but good spot, "Hmmm.....the film geek force is strong with this one !" :)

Your line does ring a bell...........................::scratch::

Let me think !

nice to meet you ninja. I am a huge huge Tv and movie watcher...like huge. Hence my forum which is all about TV and movies, lol

I agree that Miller's crossing is one of the best mafia films, but not in the same league as Goodfellas, Godfather 1 and 2, A Bronx Tale, Bugsy, and maybe Casino. But it is very good.
The only mistake I ever made was to appoint a sniveling little weasel like you Secretary of Defense. However, that is a mistake, I am happy to say, that I don't have to live with. Mr. Nimzicki... you're fired.
Here is the next one - a little harder -

As Peter Griffin once said "I don't care for the Godfather, don't care for it".

I think its overlong, self insulgent and patronsing with a few brilliant scenes to keep the sheer tedium of its massively overlong running time at bay. I was stunned when my dad produced a dvd box set that made it even LLLOOONNNGGGEEERR !

Casino is basically Goodfellas 2, bronx tale is a masterclass of overacting from bob Deniro, and Bugsy ?, well I can't believe you think Bronx Tale or Bugsy is better than MIller Crossing ?!

Millers crossing is a one off, no other gangster film made like it before it or since.

ANYWAY ! :bigwink:

I think your quote was from Independence Day !

A fairly awful film from the dreaded partnership of Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin !, they also made Stargate (a crap film that incredibly went on to spawn an equally crap Tv series), the Godzilla remake which was truly a complete disaster !, and The Day After Tommorrow which is your bog standard 21st century effects laden survival tripe.

Anywho ! A quote !

"Black for you !"

"It becomes me well"

Trying to raise the tone here TV !:littleangel:

Trying to raise the tone here TV !:littleangel:

lol - most actual mob guys you ever hear interviewed always say that A Bronx Tale or Thief (INCREDIBLE movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083190/ that I loved) are the closest to realty and the real world the wise guys live in.
Now on to Independence Day. Yes the quote was from that movie - good get. I have to say that the movie is not terrible if you take it for what it is - a masterpiece of special effects for the time it came out. A truely brilliant effects movie, with a little humor and action =  a summer blockbuster. Stargate i agree is crap. And I think the Godzilla remake deserves a little more credit for taking a chance at motifying a beloved classic. i am not saying it is great, but not the worst ever, lol. The Day After Tomorrow is all MTV and cable TV propaganda and again, just a mindless blockbuster type action flick that tries to force feed a message.

ok on to the new quote (and I admit that I did not know all of this one exactly and only part of it, so I cheated a little and got the actual quote for our game here) -

She was fifteen years old, going on thirty-five, Doc, and she told me she was eighteen, she was very willing, I practically had to take to sewing my pants shut. Between you and me, uh, she might have been fifteen, but when you get that little red beaver right up there in front of you, I don't think it's crazy at all and I don't think you do either. No man alive could resist that, and that's why I got into jail to begin with. And now they're telling me I'm crazy over here because I don't sit there like a goddamn vegetable. Don't make a bit of sense to me. If that's what being crazy is, then I'm senseless, out of it, gone-down-the-road, wacko. But no more, no less, that's it
