Robert Zemekis has recently finished work on a CGI version of the classic epic poem Beowulf.Using similar technology as was used on his Polar Express film.

I am literally soiling myself in anticipation !. Beowulf is an important part of old english literary heritage, it was originally written in the early middle ages.

Here is link to the official site that reveals the a-list voice over talent being drafted in to bring the classic fable to life. There have been other versions of Beowulf knocking around but this is one I've been waiting for.

I just hope there are no Hollywood plot revisions !

I mean I don't believe in dragons so I don't think its a real historical tale.

I just hope they don't ruin by.....you know changing the outcome ?

I will say no more, I don't want to spoil it for anyone not familiar with the legend of Beowulf, we had it drummed into us as school kids !

I see the Grendel is being depicted as a hideously deformed monster which he wasn't in the original story, he was just a man.

I wonder if they fudge the ending of the original story as well ?
