I didn't include horror flicks, but "Bram Stoker's Dracula" was terrible. Keanu Reeves playing an Englishman was so farcical it was comedic.

I guess it's a good thing I don't watch that many movies. I didn't think anyone could top Keanu. "Dude, like, I have but 5 quid on my person, like, sir dude."

"Pearl Harbor" was indeed one of the most wretched pieces of dreck I've ever seen.

My wife and I went to see "Gods and Generals" when it came out. After an hour I woke her up and we left the theater.

I may be in the minority here but I tried to watch "300" while I was on the plane a few weeks back. The acting and dialogue was so laughably wretched that I stopped watching after about ten minutes.

"Robin Hood," with Kevin Costener is also among the worst movies I have ever seen.

We might want to also remember the new Star Wars movies as well. Just terrible.

You mean you didn't find Jarjar Binks incredibly cute and entertaining? My 7-year old loves the new Star Wars films, but I find them hard to stomach. Why have such an annoying character that sounds like "a retarded Jamaican" (as one critic put it)? Weaker acting is hard to find.

I don't know how the Stonewall Jackson character in "Gods and Generals" could have been any more patronizing toward blacks. I guess you could call it "Maudlin Rouge."

I haven't seen Costner's "Robin Hood" or "300", but thanks for the warning.

I haven't seen [.....] "300", but thanks for the warning.

Shiro, you're missing out.  I have 2 copies of it; one a bootlegged copy, the other the retail version with all the "extras" in it.  I'll mail you a copy if you like!

As for the Star Wars movies, I find it odd how everyone here seems to think the new ones suck and the old ones were great.  I liked all of them, but my son, who didn't grow up with the first three as I did, hates those and thinks the more recent ones are fantastic.  But no one seems to like Jar Jar.  I didn't like him, either.
