Seriously though Sevenna loves musicals, I am glad we have a DVD player and TV in the bedroom where she can watch her "musical" DVD's in private without me having listen to her "trying" to sing along.

Seriously if Sevenna's attempts at singing escape the confines of our home nearby songbird populations have been known to commit mass suicide !

J.C.S.S. and Hair! come to mind then ya got "Tommy"........Sound of music is great, Oklahoma with Shirley Jones, The wall, some concept albums could be called a musical. Rocky horror picture show, the list goes on..............But I liked Grease..........and for what it's worth................."A star is born" But nothing compares to the ole 40's-50's extravaganza on occasion. Very colorful and surreal.

My husband Carl has a tv/dvd player combo that he watches movies with his headphones on, for which I am very grateful too. We usually have very different tastes in what we consider "a good movie".

I loved Carmen Miranda, btw, LC. :)

Those are some of the best ones out there, librtyhead! You have good taste!  I also enjoyed "Fiddler on the Roof".

I love Musicals too!

Really enjoyed Grease, but haven't seen it in years.

Godspell is probably my favorite! :heartbeat:

My husbands favorite is Carousel.

and we both love Fiddler on the Roof.  (He played Tevia in a production when he was in the Coast Guard.)

He hates chick flicks but if it's a musical he'll watch it.  :bigwink:
