I like beauty school drop-out. One of the silliest songs in that movie.

Love that film...my daughter and I originally watched it in 1978, when I was pregnant with my son.  He is 29 now and my daughter is nearly 40...sort of scary.

I saw it during its first run on Broadway.  It was actually the first Broadway play I had ever seen.

I would not mind seeing Grease live on stage. If I was to see it live I would have to stop myself from singing out loud and totally deafening everyone. :rotfl:

Were you embarrassed to admit that you like musicals or just Grease LC?
I love musicals aswell. I am currently planning on watching Evita tonight seeing as th other half is at work and I am off today (ha us crap removers do not work bank hols..but the little office workers do!). I am making the most of the peace as the Great Ninja is on holiday after tomorrow night.
Anyway...there is one musical that is embarrassing to admit that I like and that is Paint My Wagon. That was featured in one of The Simpsons and when Lee Marvin started singing the look on Barts and Homer's face was classic!
Did you ever get the chance to see Cats?

Nothing better than a girlfriend who likes musicals when you yourself HATE musicals ! ::eyemad::

I love films but with very few exceptions (The Blues Brothers, Bugsy Malone) when I watch a film and somebody starts singing instead of talking my first thought is "This should be on stage, NOT on film".

If I had to pick my favorite Grease song, it would be "You're the One that I Want".  I enjoy watching the musicals.  I also love the old t.v. movies where they broke out in song and dance...they don't make 'em like they used to!
