Blazing Saddles !, yes, yes ! A film you quite simply could not make today, un-PC but with no hint of malice.

The Holy Grail (we don't need the Monty Python moniker in the UK) is a work of genius.

Airplane is also a work of genius, the scattergun American approach to humour, which was displayed in Police Squad, the Naked Gun films and my personal favourite Top Secret !

I would offer Austin Powers, The life of brian (possibly the funniest film ever) and Napoleon Dynamite as other contenders.

For me, it's gotta be Bruce Almighty.  When Carrey's character makes the head anchorman talk all gibberish and stupid, it makes me laugh till I'm purple and hiccupping every single time.

.....and I do the cha-cha like a sissy girl.  Just thinking about it now, I'm snickering.

Have you seen Evan Almighty yet?  Was wondering if it was funny also.  Sequels are not always as good as original.  I like the idea of Morgan Freeman as God.

Top Secret was the first Zucker film I bought on DVD. The opening "Skeet Surfin'" scene was really off-the-wall for its time. The Swedish bookstore scene was truly inspired. My 7-year old and I laugh like crazy when we watch it.

Another of my favorites is Best in Show. I also like A Mighty Wind, Spinal Tap, and Waiting for Guffman, but my favorite is Best in Show.
