I looked for a thread about this film and couldn't find one.

So another one that is a bit older; it's just now come out on cable.  I have seen it 3 times now.  What a cool flick!  A great cast; Jack Nicholson, Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Wahlberg, Alec Baldwin (and even his presence couldn't wreck this one) and Martin Sheen, to name a few.

Interesting how they twist stuff up, and keep you guessing for a bit, but I have to say my favorite scene is the symbolism in the last 20 seconds or so, when one character you have nearly forgotten about has just shot a crooked cop and the camera zooms into the railing of the balcony and slowly zeroes in on a rat.  I always grin when I see the rat.  If you haven't seen the movie, you won't know why it's so fitting and I suggest, SEEING THIS MOVIE!  Two thumbs up from me.  ::thumbs:: ::thumbs:: Anyone else?

Leonardo DiCaprio?  I kind of feel about him they way you do about Alec Baldwin.  Have yet to see the movie, but may give it a go because of Nicholson and, don't laugh, Mark Wahlberg.
