A year or so ago we bought a new television that was HDTV capable, but we did not have a satelite receiver in HD yet, because at the time there were not many channels in HD.  But now there are alot more, and we had an HD tuner installed from DirecTV. It is great.  A definate difference, and we are impressed.  The guy said that soon our local network channels will broadcast in HD also.  Right now there are almost 100 channels that broadcast in HD.  We do not get them all, because some are the premium channels.

So Rick is now playing with the new tuner, setting up favorites lists and all.  I tell you, before Rick came around, I was perfectly happy with my cable TV, and VCR.  Now it looks like electronics world in our living room.  Just glad he  knows what he is doing.
