That is great.  I was just wondering when or if it was coming back.

Just re-read the schedule.  The schedule starting at the end of March is repeats from the first seasons.  Season 4 begins in mid-April.

Thanks for the heads up!

I think we've watched every episode so far.

We really enjoy it!

Did anyone catch it?  :bigwink:

there were 2 new episodes on last Tuesday and another on tomorrow.  I almost missed it...but as I was going to bed I noticed that it was replaying again at 11 p.m. so set the DVR to record it and watched it the next day. ::wheww::

you know how superstitious they can be?  It might be an interesting season...as the radio went dead as they were reading opening prayer before they left port.   And everyone was slightly freaking out.  Among a few other personal rituals that didn't go as planned.

has anyone else been watching this year?

The King Crab season is over, and they're now 4 episodes into the Opelio (sp?) Crab season...

I've got it set up to record new episodes, so we caught up last night.

They all weathered a hurricane...woke up to decks torn apart (literally)...Captain Phil got thrown out of bed and hit a dresser, thinking he broke some ribs...the next day he started coughing up blood...several days later when they made it back to port, he went to the hospital...x-rays didn't show any broken ribs...but looks like he might possibly have lung cancer... (the attendent couldn't tell him that, but said it's not good and he needs to see a specialist).   :verysad:

I don't watch the show as faithfully as you Amy, but I've seen it from time to time and love watching it.  My son had some friends out of the Seattle area who fish on the boats out of Alaska.  Great money, if you can make it through the season.  I've been on a sail boat during storms, and there's no way I would go off shore like those fishing boats do.....never!

you and me both!  ::chuckle::  I know I couldn't do it...we rented a house boat in Florida a few years ago, and by the end of the week I thought I was gonna have a nervous breakdown...just from the drifting about in relatively calm water :lmao:...the current kept pulling our anchor up and I was constantly on guard.  not my idea of fun.  :bigwink:

my husband loves watching it because it reminds him of his days in the Coast Guard.  They were stationed in the Bering Sea so it all looks very familiar.

I don't like being tossed on the sea and I'm allergic to crab but I really like that show.
