Do you know of or have you seen any films that were so bad they were actually good ?

You know the sort of films that your intellect recognises as trash but you get a great deal of guilty pleasure out of anyway ?

My first nomination is.....................

The Eliminators !

A low budget film from 1986, it got a cult following when its was released on video, suffice to say it is not Denise Crosby's finest hour.  It was a product of the Charles Band conveyor belt of derivative schlock and my god its s**t !

And good at the same time !, mindless action, and a cyborg attached to a tank, and a ninja, and laser beams and some bulls**t about time travel.

Excellent !

Not sure all will agree with me, but I really think this one has achieved cult status because it is so lame.  But it still ranks as one of my top 25 favorite movies.

This one, too.  I even have this on DVD...thanks to my husband finding it one Christmas.

In this sequel to the Evil Dead films, a discount-store employee ("Name's Ash. Housewares.") is time-warped to a medieval castle beset by monstrous forces. Initially mistaken for an enemy, he is soon revealed as the prophecised savior who can quest for the Necronomicon, a book which can dispel the evil. Unfortunately, he screws up the magic words while collecting the tome, and releases an army of skeletons, led by his own Deadite counterpart. What follows is a thrilling, yet tongue-in-cheek battle between Ash's 20th Century tactics and the minions of darkness.

With Annette Bening, Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close, Pierce Brosnan.

Nice Planet, We'll take it!

Great satire from 1996.

And my favorite bad movie of all time, from the mid 1980's:

Crossroads  with Ralph Maccio, Jamie Gertz, Steve Vai, etc.

the reenactment of the legend of Robert Johnson---

The last 10 minutes are Cinema Gold!
