Has anyone noticed that really good shows just disappear?? I remember watching favorites for years, always there, always good, never leaving.  Old standbys you could always cuddle up in a chair in your Jammie's, and count on.............I've tried with Desperate Housewives, never on anymore, not even re -runs!  I've tried with Boston Legal, don't have a clue what's happened to it!  What about Brothers and Sisters, I love that show.........can't find it anywhere!  What the he*l happens?  Are they just messing with those of us who look forward to a little comfort and reliability in our lives?  It's as though todays hectic pace is bound and determined to take away all stability in our lives!  :howrude:

Never saw any of them. Don't watch much TV. Takes up too much of my fishing time and computer time.

Good news Fox. They were gone because of the writers strike. They are all coming back now. The first new episode of Desperate Housewives will be on this coming Sunday night. I believe Brothers and Sisters will have a new episode also. NBC will also have new episodes on their Thursday night lineup this week also (they my have started last week).

You would not believe some of the crap I've reduced myself to watching since the strike began. I'll embarrass myself and tell you about one in particular.

Oh I loved Cheers!  I still watch Frasier if I stay awake long enough!  My all time favorite of the oldies is Seinfeld!!  I like the PBS shows too if I'm really serious about TV, like if I'm sick and just want to curl up!

i can't get over the number of people here at work that intentionally watch all that god-awful reality TV!!

Arrgghh!  i HATE that crap.  Oh, susan and spike don't get along?  so what.  Jake has to go to the hospital?  GOOD!  serves him right for trying to live in the friggin desert eating bugs just to be on TV.

and who gives a rat's ass about america's next top model??  that show and that other piece of crap "Girliciuos" are why women and young girls have body image issues.  the best looking one from the Model show is a size 10. a 10! AND SHE'S CONSIDERED PLUS SIZE??!!!  wtf?
