i was disappointed, i'm sad to say.  the plot gets... screwy, for lack of a better word.

He's a Colonel in the US Army now and was a super spy for the CIA against the Japanese in WWII. 

he still teaches at the same college though.  there are several GREAT stunt scenes and action sequences, most dealing with motorcycles.  very cool.

but the ending was...  bad.

 

sorry, but you should wait for the DVD and rent it.

I saw it last weekend at the drive-in. It's not really my kind of movie and i've never seen the other 3. I was not impressed, and so far, I havn't heard of anybody that has liked it. Now, Ironman was the second show and I thought that movie was great. Wish they would have shown that one first so I could have made it home before 2:00 in the morning.
