Has anyone seen this film yet?  It finally comes out over here in the UK and I will be seeing it this weekend.  Nic Cage looks hot in leathers. ::sly::

He looks good in that photo, but there are some movies where I could bash him upside the head with a frying pan. Remember "Peggy Sue Got Married"?

Argh!

The new version of The Wicker Man would be one of the ones that I wasn't too impressed with, but then I'm biased.

Oh dear !

I think it looks shit !, it was directed by the same man that did Daredevil and Elektra which were BOTH shit !

Also I think Nic Cage is massively overrated.

Rant over !

::peace::

Well the film was really good, excellent effects, excellent story but I was disappointed about the ending.  I enjoyed the film because Nic Cage pulls off a good character and he can act really well.  Yes, he looked real hot in leathers. :littleangel:

It isn't Shakespeare, but it was entertaining in a mindless sort of way.

I love Cage, but the Wicker man is truly one of the worst movies in many years. Just really really bad.

I loved the Ghost Rider movie for all of the fun it was. Not an academy award winner by any means, but honestly a lot of fun. Cage being the fun Cage.

I couldn't agree more, I am a massive fan of the original Wicker man (its one of the best british horror films of all time) and turned off the Cage remake on DVD after half an hour it was so bad.

Rick just rented it on Pay Per View.  Not usually my kind of movie, but I am finding it oddly interesting.  Go figure.  And I don't even like Nicholas Cage.

I saw it recently on DVD.

Hmmmm........the actor that played Johnny Blaze as a youngster was more the right age for the character thats for sure, not Nic Cage in his forties for f**ks sake ! The spirit of vengeance is far more interesting when it takes over a "young" man not a 40+ year old that Cage obviously is despite make up and a nice dyed hairdo.

The scenes of Ghost rider in action on his "spiritual steed" whipping that chain around ?, spot on !

But Ghost Rider was always a somewhat minor character in the Marvel universe, they have tried a solo Ghost rider comic book and it never worked unless the tone was turned much darker than the film and even then it failed.

Where the hell is the Mighty Thor ? he should have had a film adaptation before bloody Ghost Rider !

Sorry I'm a comic book nerd.

The mighty Thor is a norse GOD !
