But why is loving one another, and beating swords into plowshares and spears into pruning hooks, NOT truth?

The ONE that Moses met on the Mountain, "Tell them that I Am".. MY Lord is so wonderful He has many names, most ego false gods have one.

While the Baha'i Faith has laws (in a secular sense) that provide punishments for certain acts, those laws really don't accomplish anything if hearts are not changed. So, no, ultimately we don't improve mankind other than individual conversions by the Holy Spirit to God's truth, as that truth has been given to all the world by Baha'u'llah.

Jesus did miracles to prove that he is the Lord. People called him Lord, and he did not rebuke them for it. God is the Lord. Jesus is Lord. In the old testament, Abraham was approached by 3 people (example of the trinity): Gen 18:1 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; Gen 18:2 And he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, Gen 18:3 And said, My Lord, if now I have found favor in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: and another old testament hint at the trinity: Num 6:24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: Num 6:25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: Num 6:26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. It is only the power of God that could accomplish the salvation of mankind, thus Jesus must be God, since he had the power to do it and did it.

It seems we are once again back to hearing the false claim that Christ has already come a second time? For those who say He has come a second time...please read His words. Jesus said regarding the last days and His coming, " And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.  “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."
