Scientology is a weird one -- I'm not sure they even believe in God as being the source of authority and reality.

I read Dianetics once years ago -- made my brain hurt, and looked to be just like the Catholics-- all kinds of mortal human beings getting given authority to decide things about YOU, instead of God being in charge..

just like the Catholic priests deciding when you had sinned and not sinned, and deciding your punishments, etc...

I think the Scientologists leaders get to decide when you've gotten to the next level, or whatever, instead of God getting to make that call.

Very weird religion - if you can even call it that.

JBF you might consider mine weird-- but you gotta admit that we at LEAST recognise other religions and God as a part of things, and haven't invented EVERYTHING out of nowhere, paying no attention to ANYTHING that's gone on in the past.

I must say sirlamre... it's nice to see you speak out against false doctrine as you just did regarding Roman Catholicism and Scientology. Sorry but I'm not giving the Baha'i a pass by any means when it comes to the light of biblical doctrine but you are right...Scientology is a weird one.
