Your brain on Bible, kids.:lmao:  The entire world-wide scientific community has produced a mountain of overlapping lines of evidence for humans evolving from primates that is "jello" and doesn't "hold up."   BUT, you can bet your life that humans came from "Adam & Eve" with bonus talking snake, or more recently, all species came from whatever was on the Ark - including those that had to teleport from other continents.

Pmh, you are a great source of entertainment.  ::smoocch::

So ridiculous, too many places to begin.  For example:

When the phrase “human evolution” is used, this is probably one of the first images to pop into people’s minds. Despite its iconic status and widespread use, it is not based on factual evidence, but on imagination.

Not based on evidence!?  Just imagination?  :bs: I forgot, fossils and DNA don't count.

"Just imagination?"

That's your problem, you imagining things and claim they occurred based on similarities, allowing your imagination rather then science to fill the gaps.

Your pictorial and your alluding to the fossil record and DNA don't overcome the problem of basic genetics with respect to the evolutionary theory of ameba to man OR primate to man. Errors (mutations) and happenstance (natural selection) don't bridge those gaps no matter what similarities may exist.

One has to wonder.  Will today be the day Pmh realizes that the evidence goes far past just similarities, and that all the evidence supports long strings of microevolutionary changes, variants of variants, leading to bigger ones?  I hope!

JBF Said: " Like paintings from a painter have similar style and design so does creation have the hand prints and unity of the Designer..."

Hi, JBF.

This is a reasonable argument, but there's a problem with it:  Not only are the "useful" parts of the DNA and morphology of us and chimps identical, but there are useless parts of the DNA and morphology that are the same.  Some examples of this are wisdom teeth, the coccyx, and ear muscles.  On the molecular side, there is the gene L-gulonolactone oxidase.  Animals that have this gene active are able to produce their own Vitamin C.  In humans, this gene is present, but inactive.

One would expect that if the similarities between species were simply a good design getting copied, there wouldn't be inactive, non-functional structures, wouldn't you think?

Excellent point, Brian. The tail stuff I posted earlier is similar - evidence of evolution via evolutionary remnants.

Thinking is the problem. God is God... whether we think so or not. :)

That's right, Brian.  Don't think.  Don't use critical thinking skills or reason.  You weren't born or meant to.  Just ... believe (what JBF believes).

You may be asking yourself "Why?" - the answer is simple, and was already provided to you: God is God.  That's the only kind of thinking and reasoning you need, Brian.  Please adjust accordingly.  Thank you.

No thinking that thinking is the problem, is the problem.

Most major religions hold ignorance disguised as faith as a virtue.

Hi, JBF.

In a certain sense, you're correct:  Reality is whatever it is, whether we know it or not.  But evolution has nothing to do with whether or not God exists.

I believe all that is what brought into being by the will of God and is maintained moment to moment by the same instrument.

The Big Bang, Particle Physics, Relativity, M Theory and Evolution are just attempts to describe HOW that will manifested Itself, not whether or not it did manifest Itrself.

Scott

God gave us the a bility to THINK and rationalize. Surely, it's a BIG sin not to do so.
