Why doesn't God come out and make things clear?  Why no clear communication?  Why the guessing, hoping, and picking, instead of knowing?  Why the text and test games?

Why does God hide in the rules of organized outfits?  Or is he hiding there at all?  Which one is right? Are any really needed to have a relationship with God?

WHY IS GOD TORTURING US?

I think God should have at least given us some meaningful incentive or assurance that we all can accept and relate to instead of claims by people of text being divine. For example, make bad people die younger than good people.

I think we would all notice a gigantic increase in good behavior if it became obvious that bad people take on torturous diseases and death early. But nope, they've been everything from rich tyrants to abusive slave owners ... from wealthy and healthy to successful and happy. In fact, all throughout history, they were even rewarded by organized religions as tyrants and abusers were condoned and supported. So, the message is, you can be bad/selfish on a big scale even, and get away with it.

There doesn't seem to be a real system.  Just the same ones the animals use - social structure byproducts and realities.

Not necessarily.  "IF" there is a Heaven or Hell, then you aren't going to get away with it.  It's back to before when we had this discussion.  Are you willing to take the chance?  The confusing part seems to be, which GOD (if you will) does a person believe?  Only the person who studies, listens, and explores will come up with his or her answer.  It's up to each person to really take a good look at evidence, and history to come up with their answer.  That's why it's so easy to fall into the trap of picking a "feel good religion".  Who wouldn't want to?  OR................you can forget religion all together, and just go with Evolution.  We are all given the choice to make our own decisions..........

When you asked was I willing to take the chance I thought you meant behave well and be a good moral person the way God would want us to be.  I guess you meant take a chance that Jesus and the Bible are direct from God?

Take a chance not believing what? 

My point is we take a chance not believing an infinite amount of things.  A particular view being popular doesn't make it necessarily accurate or right.  Beating slaves was condoned as AOK once, too.
