Considering that for -you- the Books are sealed up at this point, none of us are surprised.

Maybe you'll decide to unseal them when Jesus HANDS them to you and says "I was trying to tell you this for YEARS -- why wouldn't you LISTEN when I said the Spirit was coming and would lead YOU unto all truth"

Most likely, He'll have tears of pain in His eyes, as He wishes for you what you could have known -- had you been willing to open your SPIRITUAL eyes.

Hope you enjoy that moment and realise that you hurt Him so....

GIVE ME
THAT OLD TIME RELIGION

Give me that old time religion
Tis the old time religion,
Tis the old time religion,
And it's good enough for me.

It was good for our mothers.
It was good for our mothers.
It was good for our mothers.
And it's good enough for me.

Give me that old time religion
Tis the old time religion,
Tis the old time religion,
And it's good enough for me.

Makes me love everybody.
Makes me love everybody.
Makes me love everybody.
And it's good enough for me.

Give me that old time religion
Tis the old time religion,
Tis the old time religion,
And it's good enough for me.

It has saved our fathers.
It has saved our fathers.
It has saved our fathers.
And it's good enough for me.

Give me that old time religion
Tis the old time religion,
Tis the old time religion,
And it's good enough for me.

It will do when I am dying.
It will do when I am dying.
It will do when I am dying.
And it's good enough for me.

Give me that old time religion
Tis the old time religion,
Tis the old time religion,
And it's good enough for me.

It will take us all to heaven.
It will take us all to heaven.
It will take us all to heaven.
And it's good enough for me.

Give me that old time religion
Tis the old time religion,
Tis the old time religion,
And it's good enough for me.

Jesus fully approves of everything Baha'u'llah had to say?

Really? Nothing contrary so the Apostle Paul would fully affirm Baha'u'llah and everything he said? All the bible Prophets and Apostles would agree too? Therefore, so would all 40 biblical writers have to be in unity and affirm and agree with what Baha'u'llah had to say?

Dear friend,

Jesus had an occasion to call His own disciple Satan and to correct others. With all due respect the Apostle Paul was not Jesus. Baha'u'llah is God's Manifestation and God does whatsoever He chooses.

All the Bible Prophets? Remember Balaam? Balaam was a Prophet from God? God came to Balaam personally and later sent an angel to talk to him also. God had a donkey talk to Balaam.

22:38 And Balaam said unto Balak, Lo, I am come unto thee: have I now any power at all to say any thing? the word that God putteth in my mouth, that shall I speak.

    (King James Bible, Numbers)

It seems Balaam was in the end not very agreeable according to Revelation.

So, once again, your reasoning is not well  presented here. You can of course question whomever you like.

Notwithstanding the divinely-inspired admonitions of all the Prophets, the Saints, and Chosen ones of God, enjoining the people to see with their own eyes and hear with their own ears, they have disdainfully rejected their counsels and have blindly followed, and will continue to follow, the leaders of their Faith. Should a poor and obscure person, destitute of the attire of men of learning, address them saying: "Follow ye, O people! the Messengers of God,"[1] they would, greatly surprised at such a statement, reply: "What! Meanest thou that all these divines, all these exponents of learning, with all their authority, their pomp and pageantry, have erred, and failed to distinguish truth from falsehood? Dost thou, and people like thyself, pretend to have comprehended that which they have not understood?" If numbers and excellence of apparel be regarded as the criterions of learning and truth, the peoples of a bygone age, whom those of today have never surpassed in numbers, magnificence and power, should certainly be accounted a superior and worthier people.
[1 Qur'án 36:20.]

It is clear and evident that whenever the Manifestations of Holiness were revealed, the divines of their day have hindered the people from attaining unto the way of truth. To this testify the records of all the scriptures and heavenly books. Not one Prophet of God was made manifest Who did not fall a victim to the relentless hate, to the denunciation,  166  denial, and execration of the clerics of His day! Woe unto them for the iniquities their hands have formerly wrought! Woe unto them for that which they are now doing! What veils of glory more grievous than these embodiments of error! By the righteousness of God! to pierce such veils is the mightiest of all acts, and to rend them asunder the most meritorious of all deeds! May God assist us and assist you, O concourse of the Spirit! that perchance ye may in the time of His Manifestation be graciously aided to perform such deeds, and may in His days attain unto the Presence of God

    (Baha'u'llah, The Kitab-i-Iqan, p. 164)

Gracious God! So great is the folly and perversity of the people, that they have turned their face toward their own thoughts and desires, and have turned their back upon the knowledge and will of God -- hallowed and glorified be His name!

Be fair: Were these people to acknowledge the truth of these luminous words and holy allusions, and recognize God as "Him that doeth whatsoever He pleaseth," how could they continue to cleave unto these glaring absurdities? Nay, with all their soul, they would accept and submit to whatsoever He saith. I swear by God! But for the divine Decree, and the inscrutable dispensations of Providence, the earth itself would have utterly destroyed all this people! "He will, however, respite them until the appointed time of a known day."

    (Baha'u'llah, The Kitab-i-Iqan, p. 171)

And if one doesn't come to Jesus in their earthly life to be saved then what happens according to Baha'u'llah?

Dear freind,

Be thou assured in thyself that verily, he who turns away from this Beauty hath also turned away from the Messengers of the past and showeth pride towards God from all eternity to all eternity.

    (Compilations, Baha'i Prayers, p. 210)

As is stated here: If one turns away from Jesus then they turn away from all God's Messengers.

So, all I have to do is declare myself a prophet of God, throw in some of my own thoughts and start my own religion. Anyone here remember a man by the name of Jim Jones?

You might remember a while back I was trying to get you to read Baha'i Scripture.

I do remember that fearful day, yes!

I am guessing that you need a good ol archaic torture session.  You know, a never-ending torturous hell hole that you are banned to forever and ever and ever (while Loving God Loves you) for all those good people who were the best moms and very respectful, productive, positive, charitable, and gentle people but who just either haven't been born into, or decided to believe, your organized religion or what you believe about Jesus.

You know, because without that hellish never-ending torture, it just wouldn't be divinely loving.  ::chuckle::

Oh, Frank. It can't be that bad. So far no Bahai had said you go to hell for rejecting Christ. Maybe that is the religion you are`seeking? One that only takes Jesus literally when it's suitable.

Well, aside from seeing people on both sides of the fence pick and choose when something should be literal or creative, I don't even know if the Bahai think I would go to Hell.  I couldn't get past the "God doesn't want me to drink a beer at the next bbq" thing.  It doesn't matter though - they accept or claim the OT to be the word of God.  I can't accept that, so I have to reject their foundation or assumptions as flawed as well.  Just my feelings, I can of course always be wrong.  ::nsmile::

The bottom line is this:

There is no NEW spokesman for God other than Jesus who spoke to us in these last days. The Baha'i claim that there are many spokesman from God they call Manifestations. Jesus was simply a Manifestation and Buddha, Muhammad, Baha'u'llah and the list goes on and on and on. The other BIG problem with this line of thinking is that all these so-called Manifestations from God contradict each other about God Himself! So, if God sends Manifestations that contradict each other about Him how will anyone know which ones are truely from God?

God of the OT (maniacal) contradicts God of the NT (medicated), too. One day - butcher everyone, stone the women, beat that slave, kill the kids, destroy the non-believers, destory the town if there is one non-believer in there, and kill your family if you think they believe something else. O h yeah, drown the babies and pets due to "disappointment" as if you didn't already know that was going to happen. That's maniacal. The next day, lovey dovey peace and love. More love and more gentle love. But still punish and keep your slave.

So back to the beginning premise:

Many modern religions (Jehovah Witness, Islam, Mormons, Bahai... use a little of the bible to bring people in thinking they are biblically sound. Then, when you come in... you find an entirely different gospel message, practice and teaching that is different from the bible.

"Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you learned and avoid them."
Romans 16:17

Jesus said, "Take heed that no one deceives you."

Matthew 24:4
