The fulfillment of a full manifestaition of God has already occured.

Maitreya is the next prophet.

Why did God do this after Bahaullah wrote that no prophet will appear for 1000 years? The answer is: God decides what is what.  However, it is not as far off the mark as bahais are automatically assuming. Badaa, is the word you would be looking for to show that God can do whatever He wants. Do you just close you mind or do you give this new understanding a chance?

To understand Badaa, think of Noah.  Noah had told those who believed in him certain prophecies that had not come true. That is right!!, Noah changed his mind, or  should be said, 'God had other plans'.  This is known a badaa, and is described in the Bahai writinngs.

So God can do anything that He wants.

How do I

How do I
Dear friend,

I'm familiar with the concept. The Bab talked about badaa.

While I agree that God does whatsoever He wills I disagree with your notion of what bada(badaa; badaw) is and how it is applied.

IMO, Bada comes about when one so earnestly petitions God for something and because of the intensity of prayer God chooses to grant the petition even though the thing prayed for goes against God's will. Thereby, the petitioner must ultimately accept that they then are receiving the 'second best' solution. God's will is always the best answer even if we do not, at times, understand it as so.

There is a lot of difference for me to petition God for His will to be done and me to petition God That my will should be done.

What makes you think I have not given your understanding a chance? I've studied it for a number of years now.

My understanding of Badaa is that this principle does not apply here, but that's just me. Others can choose for themselves.

Dear friend,

JBF: [Please leave Noah alone.]

Keep praying: God just might give you what you ask for: badaa?

Among the Prophets was Noah. For nine hundred and fifty years He prayerfully exhorted His people and summoned them to the haven of security and peace. None, however, heeded His call. Each day they inflicted on His blessed person such pain and suffering that no one believed He could survive. How frequently they denied Him, how malevolently they hinted their suspicion against Him! Thus it hath been revealed: "And as often as a company of His people passed by Him, they derided Him. To them He said: 'Though ye scoff at us now, we will scoff at you hereafter even as ye scoff at us. In the end ye shall know.'"[1] Long afterward, He several times promised victory to His companions and fixed the hour thereof. But when the hour struck, the divine promise was not fulfilled. This caused a few among the small number of His followers to turn away from Him, and to this testify the records of the best-known books. These you must certainly have perused; if not, undoubtedly you will. Finally, as stated in books and  8  traditions, there remained with Him only forty or seventy-two of His followers. At last from the depth of His being He cried aloud: "Lord! Leave not upon the land a single dweller from among the unbelievers."[1]
[1 Qur'án 11:38.]

And now, consider and reflect a moment upon the waywardness of this people. What could have been the reason for such denial and avoidance on their part? What could have induced them to refuse to put off the garment of denial, and to adorn themselves with the robe of acceptance? Moreover, what could have caused the nonfulfilment of the divine promise which led the seekers to reject that which they had accepted? Meditate profoundly, that the secret of things unseen may be revealed unto you, that you may inhale the sweetness of a spiritual and imperishable fragrance, and that you may acknowledge the truth that from time immemorial even unto eternity the Almighty hath tried, and will continue to try, His servants, so that light may be distinguished from darkness, truth from falsehood, right from wrong, guidance from error, happiness from misery, and roses from thorns. Even as He hath revealed: "Do men think when  9  they say 'We believe' they shall be let alone and not be put to proof?"[1]
[1 Qur'án 29:2.]

Yes, Freeman, choose as you want, but go to the website of Maitreya and find out what I am talking about.

No, I will not look for a new Messiah but Christ alone who will make all false messiahs and false prophets bend the knees at His feet at His coming.::wiseman::

I honestly wasn't.  I can't relate to either of you much but wasn't making fun.  I just found the way he said leave Noah alone was like he was saying leave my friend alone.  Nevermind, hard to explain. :)

Read the rest of that -- He will share that new name with His new believers.

{to} Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name."

The Bible makes it perfectly clear that "those who overcome" will KNOW what that new name is...it will NOT be 'unknown" to them, once they have overcome, it will be written in their hearts!

Now if you haven't OVERCOME, then no, you're NOT going to know it, and it will be hidden from you!

Revelation 19:11-16

Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS."

Notice No One knew the name but Jesus Himself? He will write it on those when He comes. Did Baha'u'llah come from heaven on a white horse in the 1800s?

Jesus said, "Take heed that no one deceives you."

Matthew 24:4
