Nothing but prayer and humility can show you that path. NOTHING. Reading the Bible or the Quran with a predisposed prideful belief in some particular interpretation or other WILL KILL YOU. God will punish pride even in those who claim belief in Him. The "world" may think there are many Paths. But there is only ONE --- Through God's Divine Spirit, and NONE other.
Armed with the power of Thy name nothing can ever hurt me, and with Thy love in my heart all the world's afflictions can in no wise alarm me. |

I think this verse says it all: "12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." It proves beyond a doubt that MANKIND will never "give" a name. But God is not "among men" in the sense of that verse -- He is independent of this verse and He CAN "give a name" --- because He is not "from men" And He has done so upon occasions of His Will. I believe that Salvation was known in some way or another to EVERYONE -- A "name" for salvation was known to every single soul He ever created, without ANY exceptions: The Aboriginal peoples of ancient Australia were Sent a "name" that God approved of The American Indians were Sent a "name" that God approved of The Eskimos were Sent a "name" that God approved of The native peoples of South America were Sent a "name" that God approved of As were everyone else that God so chose to Reveal Himself to. And God will CONTINUE to provide for every soul on earth who prays to Him in utter humility and without ANY pride of knowledge in what they think they already know. To claim otherwise is to show PRIDE towards Him Who Created you and to your Heavenly Father, from all eternity. The punishment for pride before God is well known. Documentation doesn't count since anyone can write whatever they want down - that's no proof of supernatural activity either way. And since those people are dead they can't be cross-examined. Even the Bible was written by people who didn't cross-examine directly - not exactly reporting to be assumed correct or without typical embellishment. Why do I need to go by what other people wrote as if that is proof either way? You do understand that people in the past embellished things, right? Do you have proof God wrote the Bible or that Jesus was supernatural? Remember, what other people wrote down in archaic times doesn't constitute proof. Here was my point to your previous question, though: the difference between the world today and the Bible crowd in the past is that we can now see that there are embellishments going on. That is why most people find it absurd to take the Bible literally. Back then, it was reasonable to and the sheep did. We are not ignorant sheep anymore, believing things just because authorities say so or it is popular. We are more enlightened now.

How does someone know it's God who answered the prayer? Without a foundation... how does one know? You think because you picked an organized religion or decided some archaic text is from God that you have a more accurate or valid "foundation?" That's ridiculous. I think your choice in organized religions has poisoned your mind and you are operating on a system that is totally man-made and contains lots of non-divine things. Your comment is arrogant and assumes that your personal decision to buy whatever it is you decided to buy means you are more correct or have a more valid relationship with God. Just because you have a "system" that spells out details doesn't mean you know more, especially if those details are wrong. For example, let's say I'm right, that God does not require organized religion and that all the systems are totally man-inspired and man-made. What does that make you!? If you never meet your dad, read about him or saw him... how would you know it's him if he was standing in front of you? Just because you picked some organized religion doesnt mean you met or know God or any of God's details more than I do. Stop assuming.
