When He comes people won't say, "There He is." or "Look, He's over there." This an example by Jesus about pointing to the false christs of today. When the "real" Christ comes... it will be sudden and "every eye will see Him" just like the bible says.

Here you have two choices regarding Jesus 2nd coming:

Choice 1. The Bible version

Choice 2. The Bahai version

Exactly, JBF. . .  actually you have three choices, the third being apathy.

The act of choice is what we're here to perform.

So you selected the Jesus according to the Bahai faith and I selected the Jesus as written in the bible.

There is a difference you know.

I know that "both" of those Jesuses are the same Manifestation of God's will. And you won't consider the most obvious solution to the disagreement.

Both of those Jesus have God's oversight but not blessings. One is a false christ and imposter and the other is the real Son Of God. God was manifest in the flesh in Christ Jesus. The Bahai have a "Different jesus" and a "Different gospel".

You insist that Jesus is GOD Almighty and it is obvious that while He is the closest thing to God we will ever behold, He still is not God on earth.

Jesus realized this and used every opportunity to dissuade the people from thinking He was God Almighty.

Jesus never entertained the notion of the Trinity either.

Scott

Once again, you speak a "false gospel". I will show you that Jesus is God by His own words and the words as spoken by the other bible writers. You may or may not "hear or listen when I do".

If Jesus was God, why did he have sin as well? I thought Jesus had sin or acknowledged it in himself or something.

On a sidenote, I didn't realize Jesus doesn't acknowledge a Holy Trinity.

There is TRINITY and trinity. Every religion expresses a concept of "trinity":

There is He Who grants a Revelation. (God)

There is the Messenger Who receives the Revelation. (The Apostle of God).

And there is the Revelation Itself. (The Holy Spirit).

This is as true for Zoroastrianism as it is for Christianity or Baha`i,, Islam or Judaism, Buddhism or Hinduism.

We stand in the sunlight and perceive the sun; but we do not really experience the sun. We experience the warmed air, the light, etc.. If we truly esxperienced the sun we would be burned to nothing in a flash.

The TRINITY on the other hand claims partners for God. It is a human dogma, not a divine reality.

Hinduism claims that God is ONE.

Judaism claims that God is ONE.

Islam claims that God is ONE.

Baha`i claims that God is ONE.

And Jesus claims that God is ONE; if you read His actual words.

What clwergy have invented since Christ ascended is not Divine Truth, just human invention, "false doctrine" as JBF likes to use the term applied to others.

Scott

Hi Frank,

Actually, Scott is wrong again and needs a refresher course before he gives you a refresher course. Unfortunately, these words of Jesus will also be mis used as more allegory and labeled as symbolic by our Bahai friends here...

1st. Jesus was sinless and knew no sin. 2 Cor 5:21

2nd. Jesus is also God Almighty and said so Himself.

Jesus said,

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,”says the Lord,“who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Revelation 1:8

Jesus said,

“If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”
Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

John 14:7-9

Jesus said, "Take heed that no one deceives you."

JBF, those passages don't clearly say Jesus is God to me.  They indicate one can see God through him, if anything.  That is how I took it.

Things like "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him" make me think that Jesus is saying knowing me is as good as knowing God, since God works through me.  Not that he is actually GOD.

1). 2 Corintihians quote; WEhere does this say is God. It says Jesus is sinless. I agree.

2). Revelation has John putting words into the mouth of Jesus; however Jesus IS the Alpha and the Omega. . . . so was Moses . . . .  so was Baha`u'llah. . . . so was Muhammed, Krshna, Buddha, Abraham, Noah, et

Yes, seeing Jesus is the closest we can come to seeing God, I agree.

Scott

Frank & Scott,

Jesus said He is the "I am". If this doesn't suffice along with the other things Jesus said that's fine with me.

I am = I am God? I don't get it.  Jesus couldn't have been God.  God would have been killed on the cross, then.

JBF,

Jesus was the Word Made Flesh, not God.

Why did you think I had not heard this argument before?

Is it fine with you? Somehow, I doubt it.

Scott
