I just now finished a bottle of Buzzsaw Brown Seasonal Ale, brewed in Bend Oregon. It's not bad stuff. I don't know what the Lord would say but thought it was pretty good.

That's the kind of talk that gets God mad.

(In fact, I would suspect more sad than mad, but who knows?)

Peace,

Bruce

Our biggest series of Baha'i holy days begins Friday at sunset, the twelve-day Ridvan (pronounced "Rizwan") festival commemorating the Declartion of Baha'u'llah, our Founder.

So I wish all and sundry a very happy Ridvan! :-)

(We'll all be having the annual elections for our Local Spiritual Assemblies Friday evening or Saturday daytime, and will be electing our National Spiritual Assemblies later in the festival.)

Best! :-)

Sumnom, Bruce suspects that God gets sad and mad (more sad though) at you for having a bottle of ale and talking about it.  You were born at the wrong time, Sumnom.   If only you had been born a stack of centuries ago, God would have patted you on the back for disciplining your purchased child-slaves utilizing the proper God-condoned rod-beating guidelines while drinking that ale.

Sorry, Sumnom.  :aww:

Don't beat yourself up - it's confusing to many of us.  Ale is OK, ale is not OK, killing kids, beating your enslaved human property is OK ... then it's not.  ::vsad::

So how is it, Frank, that you interpret "sad" as "more than mad?"

I'm curious now.

Regards,

Bruce

I corrected my post a minute ago, I meant more sad than mad, sorry. :)  Please re-read my love-letter to Sumnom.

I apologize for the confusion.  This whole "changing rules depending on who you talk to, which faith you pick, when and where you lived" thing is confusing.

You have got to be kidding me...

God is sad because I had a nice bottle of ale at the end of the day while sitting at my desk reading?

It's true, so watch your attitude.  It has been written and Bruce can provide a website link to God's new rules.

::chuckle::  You're a good sport, Bruce!  Seriously though, is God going to get annoyed, sad, or whatever it may be if I smoke some weed at my cousin's house this summer?
