This Thread Is Exclusive For The Christianity Faith vs The Bahai Faith Only!

Let's try to keep it as self contained as possible.:bigwink: Let's respect the other members on the Forum who don't wish to see our bickering all over the place. This thread is for all forms of debate and teaching, doctrine and communication, between Christian and Bahai members. :D If we have issues outside this forum, if possible, let's bring them here and debate them.

God Bless Everyone :littleangel:

And so the response to the proliferation of "bickering with Baha'i" threads is to create yet another thread as a place-holder? There is no original thesis for discussion in the initial post; so I can only assume the thread is a place-holder.

The moderators of the Baha'i forum and the Christianity forum indicate that their forums aren't about bickering; so those sorts of threads aren't appropriate there. I have no objections to a series of topical threads contrasting and advocating positions of those or other religions in the general religion and philosophy forum.

Have you received complaints about this, JBF?

This should be used as spill over more or less construct. People have commented they are tired of the Bahai vs Christianity debates dominating the discussions lately. Out of respect, I opened this as an option. It may or may not be effective. Sure, it would be better to discuss these topics between the two faiths on the individual member owned forums but the nice thing about this is... there are basically no rules for engagement.

No rules for engagement, hunh? So that means that I can participate as a double-agent? Or maybe a triple- or quadruple-agent?

I think the answer to being tired of Bahai-Christian threads is not to open them. I don't see a problem with people debating whatever they want in whatever thread they want.

I agree sumnom. And it is very likely this thread will have little or no use.:dunno:

We were just desperate and naive.  I should have just made a notice that said "please stop infecting every other thread with X."

Again, all Aethelred's fault.

Are those dots simply periods at the end of a sentance that was never written or just dots? Could you give me the Baha'i interpretation & meaning? :bigwink:

They're literal dots. They have no hidden spiritual allegorical meaning.

Greetings!

For starters--the more so since this is apparently a newly-created thread--, I would humbly suggest a huge improvement in the thread title!

I think it would be far better as "Christianity and the Baha'i Faith" rather then using the truly regrettable term "vs." which implies a conflict that isn't necessarily either always the case or even desired!

I hope whoever's managing this thread can make this correction.

Bruce
