thankyou Amy and Hana, but i really feel in no danger. what's frustrating is all the storm has brought so far is high winds to whip up the fires, and no rain!! now when there is a category 4 or 5 hurricane aimed at me, you will see me scared!! :pray:



Storm whips up wildfires
Winds from the first named storm of the year fanned wildfires in Georgia and northern Florida on Wednesday, more than three weeks ahead of the official start of the Atlantic hurricane season. Subtropical Storm Andrea, with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph (72 kph) and higher gusts, was centered about 135 miles southeast of Savannah, Georgia, as of 11 p.m. ET on Wednesday.

Florida firefighters race against the storm
Florida firefighters are bracing for a storm forecast for Monday that could bring fire-feeding winds and lightning. They took advantage of Sunday's low winds and low humidity by clearing brush and widening fire lines. Smoke in some areas cut visibility and made highway travel treacherous, causing officials to reclose stretches of I-75 and I-10 in northern Florida Sunday.
