Just wondering who else is returning to school or college this autumn?  Have you studied before as an Adult Learner, or is this a 'first' for you?

What variety of subjects do we cover within our Group?

Hana

I seem to be addicted to study!  At present I am working on my Level 2 Math; ITQ, and Managing Volunteers; all with LearnDirect.

Later this year I start short courses with Open University; Start Writing Essays, Vandalism in CyberSpace, and Science Starts Here.

Those sound like really interesting courses, Hana.  Especially the "Vandalism in Cyberspace" course.

If you need help with your math class, just PM me.  I've taken up through advanced Calculus, but of course, that was a long time ago.  These days, I most likely could help you through Algebra and Geometry better.

Well, I am not taking classes now, but have in the past. I went back to college at 25 to earn my Bachelors Degree. More recently when I was first learning to use a computer, I took some intro to computer classes. Not really exciting, but those are my experiences.

I was taking a home study course in Medical Coding until all the bad things started happening to my mother.  I'm hoping to get back to it as soon as circumstances allow.

Hospitals, clinics, doctors, and other medical places use the coding system to give the correct "code" number for each medical condition, disease, etc. to the medical biller so they can send the invoice to the insurance company, medicare, etc. to be paid for the service they render.
